Always use valid and true information when signing
up with the IFW/freebie site itself and when completing offers. Failure to do so will cause you to be placed on hold (go red.)
Download Roboform. Roboform is a very useful program that will fill out forms with one click, making it easier to fill
out offers and eliminating the risk of typos. It will also remember all of your passwords.
Never use a pre-paid credit/debit card. Freebie sites and
offers do not allow pre-paids to be used. Always use a valid credit/debit card. A valid credit or debit card is one that is
issued by your bank or some similar financial institution. Recent changes to the freebie industry no longer allow the use
of any Paypal instruments, including the Plug-in, the debit card, and the credit card.
Keep track of all of the freebie sites and offers you have
completed. You may use a notebook or a spreadsheet. Make sure to note the customer service number of the offer company and
any pertinent account information.
Read all the terms and conditions of each freebie site you sign up for and
every offer you do before you sign up. It is a good idea to print these out as well and keep them for your records.
Many offers will pre-authorize the full price
of their service or product to your credit or debit card. These charges are not actual charges, only pre-authorizations
to make sure you have the funds available to pay the full price and will fall off after a few days.
If you do an offer labeled instant and it doesn't credit right away, dont panic. Instant
rarely means instant and could actually take up to 7 days to credit. If you haven't received credit after 7 days has passed,
then it is unlikely that you will get credit. If the site you are working allows for manual credit requests, it is at this
time that you would ask for one. If not, you would need to complete another offer if you are still interested in going green
on that site.
Never,
ever log in or attempt to do freebies from any other location other than the one where you were when you first signed up.
This is because your account with the freebie site is tied to the particular IP address from where you first accessed it.
Ideally, you should sign up for freebies and do offers only from your home. If you attempt to log in from anywhere else, your
account will be placed on hold.
If
you are planning a move, always submit a support ticket to all of the freebie sites you have worked advising them of this
and that your IP and physical addresses will be changing.
Communication is essential. Accordingly, I do require that you keep in contact through-out the trade. So please
keep me updated with your status, and of course, immediately let me know if you are having problems (crediting issues, site
issues, anything.)
